Historical League (1964) with openings

FORT, http://www.ourfamiglia.com/FORT/, currently has an opening available for the Houston Astros.

I am also expecting an opening shortly for the Kansas City Royals...

Both teams are in a rebuilding phase, so really the biggest difference between them is the DH (i.e. the worst thing to happen to baseball not named Steinbrenner).
