Best Online Leagues

The NARBL is a great league. I'm on the waiting list to get back in. The MLBC is another great league, and a very long running one.

When I read that Gary was commish of SO49 I tried to join, but the database says it's defunct and the site is missing.

Thank you to Shane, Sean, and Nate for the mentions of the USBA.

Since we've never recruited for an opening here and the league keeps a low profile, many new people have probably never heard of it and many veterans may have forgotten about it.

With the best Cato and All-Star sites found in any online league anywhere and a bevy of beat writers and ghost writers, the USBA has always remained a damn fun place to play fake baseball!

Just checked out NexGen for the first time. Hands down the sickest OOTP site I've ever seen. Don't know much about the league, but the customization and sortability of online player/team/league reports/stats is something I have never seen elsewhere.

The forums are indeed sick, and as Brian pointed out earlier, usually not work safe. The league is nearing the 4 year mark, and we still have a fair number of original owners. The web site is the brain child of one of our owners, John Frey who spent a considerable amount of time taking the information that BOSI (and joe's csv exporter) grabs and taking it to the next level.

We're fairly quiet around these parts, but we're still going strong. Our next league project will be more of the same.

I appreciate the props, but right now I'm too busy to come back. USBA is a fantastic league, though.

I'm in the most stable online league I've ever been a part of right now and would nominate it for anyone looking for a great league that is very well run (click the link in my sig).

And, its not often a high quality league like this has openings. So, if you want in, come to the forums and get involved.

Any league that can keep me 0-9 in the playoffs has to be good ( ) , and the forums are fun (the NSFW stuff is kept separate).

The website is also "sick" as its been referred to here, and I entirely agree

Best league I've been in was Whispers of the Golden Past, sadly isn't around anymore. I miss my Williamstown Legends, the team I've had most love for while playing OOTP, wonder what ever happened to John Anderson he had just come of a great season along with Deacon Phillippe, oh happy days

I'm Co-Commish of the WPBL. Check it out. Great owners. Currently in 2008 and we will probably never become fictional due to the Venezuelan Winter League and manually edited draftees each year.

Player pictures always depict the player's OOTP team. That's Edgar Renteria as a Pirate on my avatar.

ShowdownShop.com

New league, but has a great site, great GM and great activity.

ALL GM's make trades, post, participate in chats and send in rosters.

The league is full of compteition. Mostly for prospects right now since everyone is rebuilding it seems.

I'm curious if there are any of these legendary-type leagues still using OOTP 5?
