Need a good league but you don't own OOTP 6.5? Not a problem. The VBL4 (www.virtualbaseball.org/vbl4) is getting ready to enter its third season (1982) and is looking for an owner for the Raleigh franchise. This franchise, once taken over, can be relocated to any available location you wish. Owning the game is not required, but a league file is maintained for those who do.

The VBL4 has a great core group of owners who have been active in virtual baseball leagues using OOTP and/or Front Page Sports Baseball Pro '98 for several years. (VBL4 uses OOTP.) We also have a group of owners who are relatively new to the game, so there's a good mix. The VBL4 has a very dedicated commissioner (that would be me) who tries to make the league as exciting and fun as possible.

We use historical rosters (a few fictional players have been mixed in to add depth to the league) from the 1980s. Check us out at www.virtualbaseball.org/vbl4 for additional information. Read the "Rules" section to see if this looks like the league for you. All I can guarantee is that we have a good time and try to make things as fun as possible. I also do my best to support all owners, new and experienced, whenever they need help. Again, check the Raleigh franchise to see if you might be interested.

We're in the 1981 playoffs right now, getting ready to head into the 1982 offseason soon. Now would be a good time to join!
