I see you are planning on moving to OOTP2006 relatively soon, which would count me out. I have no intentions of buying this version right now. But as long as you plan on taking 6.5 exports, I'll remain interested.

Come on, Vris.

The JOBL has plenty of NPBL and NABA crossover, but it needs more TWB influx.

No. There clearly isn't enought bitching and moaning on the JOBL boards.

And I think it's four right now if you count you.

So I'm the reason behind the bitching?

If I get confirmation that converting to 2006 is a few seasons away, I might take the plunge.

We're in the process of running a small test to see if moving to OOTP2006 is worthwhile. Once that is complete, I'll poll JOBL owners to see if they want to move next season.

If they vote yes, we'll be moving. If no, we'll hold off and re-vote the next season. So, stay tuned!

That's great and all, I'll be awaiting the results. But, taking a vote every year seems silly. If you go with "majority rules" after this season or next season or whenever, you will lose a good amount of owners (if the votes 51% or 99%, you will still lose someone).

Well, he never said 51% would be enough to upgrade. So keep your eyes peeled, Vris.

Also, as a member of the test league, I will say the autmatic import and extract is sweet-ass.

My eyes are so peeled, Chappy, that I have no idea what I'm looking for.

I'm just stating the obvious, tis all.

The issue is owners waiting to purchase the game (for what ever reason), so the polls are used to determine intention. It's already clear that most of our owners plan to buy OOTP2006 at some point, so it is just a matter of getting that critical mass where we don't lose a good number of owners OR force a bunch of people to spend money at a point that doesn't make sense for them.

Nothing silly about that!

Devil Bats filled with another NPBL crossover!

Vris, definitely keep an eye on the league. For future 6.5 openings and/or if you decide to buy OOTP2006. We'd be glad to bring you on board!

Glad you were able to fill the opening. I've been watching and will continue to do so.
