Community League needs 3GMs--Beginning of 1903 season

The Community League just flipped to the 1903 season about a week ago and looking to get started for the upcoming season. Before that can be done we need to fill 3 GM spots.

The league has started out with 450 all time greats from the past and present, so each team right away has great players on it

The following teams are open:

Boston Red Sox: Record (75-87 last year) Boston had an off season last year, but is stocked with talent. Lead by Joe Dimaggio, this team has lots of potential and just needs that right owner to get the team back on top. Boston has the #2 overall pick in the draft this year.

Baltimore Orioles: Record (91-71 last year) Team came back in a roar after a disappointing 1901 season. They did however lose to the World Series champs (CLE) in the ALCS 4-2. Team is stacked with offsense by the likes of McGwire, Schmidt, Cepeda, Mantle, and Belle.

In the pitching aspect of the team they have Curt Schilling, Roy Oswalt, Cy Young and Don Drysdale. Trevor Hoffman had 28 saves with a 3.24 era.

St. Louis Cardinals: Record (89-73 last year) Another team that came back with a vengence last year to make the playoffs. They lost in the NLCS to the powerhouse Cubs 4-0, but look to get back to the playoffs again this year.

Team is lead by Babe Ruth, who hit 45 HRs and drove in 127 last year. Also have Hank Aaron who hit 26 HRs and drove in 95 in his rookie season

So there you have teams looking for new owners. Any of these teams could be in the playoffs next year and win it, so all it takes is a dedicated owner to make that happen.

Here is some basic info about the league.

Sim Schedule: M-W-F (Exports due at 4pm EST; Sim after 5pm EST)

Sim Length: We do a half month of a time. Either 15 or 16 games. So after 2 sims one month of the season will be completed. Works out really well.

Amateur draft: 5 rounds and done on the forum. Will consist of real players from past years of baseball.

After you post the info I will look it over and then let you know if you are in. I am looking for GMs who have time for the league. This league doesn't require alot of time by you. It is a laid back league and it is alot of fun to just watch how the season plays out. I do ask you at least export every other sim, so that way I know you are still active with the league. I am trying to add some things to the forum to make it more active.

Also I will take people who don't have the game. All I ask is you to be active and get the team some of your time
