Hey guys, I have been away from OOTP for a while (school and work are mostly to blame). I haven't owned the game since v4 I believe but I am starting to get the itch again. I was running a league before I was forced to put my online habits to bed to focus on other things. Anyway...

I am currently working(in the early stages) on a webpage for sim sports(any sport) that would cover all the basics of sim leagues. I have the features that are listed below in mind. Please feel free to post you likes/dislikes/suggestions/thoughts on this idea.

* Current/New leagues and links to their sites.

A breakdown of each league on the site. # of teams, type of rosters, when started, current year, sim schedule, etc, etc, etc...

* League openings

Planning to have a form for the commish to use to post openings on his/her league page on my site. Hopefuly openings would be as updated as possible. I will also update them if the commish so desires.

Previews/Reviews/Opinions on games & leagues

Statistical highlights and possibly a central and complete hall of fame for each sport.

The details and requirements for this will have to be critiqued very thouroughly, but I think it would be nice to have.

I have more ideas than those listed above, but they are still jumbled up in my head at this point. I also registered the url I plan to use about a month ago. it would be http://www.insidesimsports.com. It isn't up yet, so don't bother.

I know that there have been other sites in the past, but they all seem to disappear after a short period of time or just stop being updated. I think it would be a big boost to the online community if rookies and vets alike all had one central place to turn to for news, leagues openings and everything in between.

Just trying to get a feeler as to what you folks think of this idea. I am also not in any leagues myself at this time and my time constraints have eased up considerably, so I feel that I will be able to remain committed.

This is a great idea. I've been wondering if anything like this existed, but I haven't found something that covered all the bases. I'd be interested in signing my league up. I don't have any other suggestions right now, but when I think of some, I'll let you know.

Ok, that sounds good and thanks for the interest. As I said before, I am still planning everything out and getting the page setup, so there is some time before it actually launches. If you want to drop me an e-mail I will send you the questionaire for your league and you can fill it out and send back to me.
