Dog Days Baseball has openings!

Dog Days Baseball is a long running fictional league in a fictional country. The league started in 1945 and is now ready to begin the 1969 season. (Don't think historical baseball, though. The years are arbitrary -- there is no attempt to make this play like MLB of the late 60s.)

Many of our original owners are still with us, but it has always been a newbie-friendly league... And given the move to OOTP2006, we are all all kind of newbies, again, anyway. The group is competitive, but in a good natured way. We have had fewer bitter disputes in all our years put together, than most leagues I know have in a single season.

As we transfer over to OOTP2006, Langlade, Denton, Northhampton, and Twin Falls are definitely vacant, and there might be one or two others as well. The league site is here:http://www.bemont.net/

Langlade and Northhampton have been taken, but Denton and Twin Falls are still looking for your guidance.

We start the season in the next few days.

This league is so much fun that I've introduced three of my real-life friends to OOTP just to get them involved. And they're all three still owners. Our wives think we're crazy...

this always was a fun league, it's a good one for people who want something a little different.

I do think Beorn is a mad man to do all he does for it though.

Looks like one of our new owners disappeared without a trace. We have once vacancy again -- let me know if you are interested.

(One thing to keep in mind -- due to file size, it can be frustrating for you if you have a slow internet connection or a very low end computer.)

Although we are in the midst of a hot pennant race and almost ready for the ammy draft, one and probably a second owner is leaving due to frustrations with OOTP2006.

Northhampton is definitely open and another team will also probably be available shortly.
