Fictional league needs 2

The tMBU - a long-running fictional league - is in search of two GM's to take over franchises as we near the end of our 14th season. The Moneyball Union is not your typical league. We have a great core of owners and RARELY have many openings. The fact that we have two now is someone what of a rarity. The two available clubs - Mexico City and Savannah - are decent clubs but could use some love from a dedicated GM.

Some of the key offerings that the tMBU has are:
- Player Agent (we do not use the in-game AI but rather employ a person dedicated to managing the contracts of all the players in the league - each GM must negotiatate their players contracts).
- Arizona Rookie League (allows you to send your top prospects to Arizona during the off-season to guage their readiness for big league play and keep any talent bumps they get).
- Scout-a-Prospect (a more personal feature that allows each GM to create a player for their last pick in the Ammy draft. The ability of the player is tied to a random number generating system that can be enhanced by buying scouting with participation points).
- Participation Points - this is a writing league but it isn't extremely intense in that only a few articles are required each season (but we want you to write more). The more you write the more points you can earn to take advantage of the point redemption rewards.

- CatoBase (14 years worth of history)

- 24 team league/ No DH

this is a talent-only league, by the way. and one of the best around.

This league is amazing. Let me introduce myself. I am Bob "NO BS" Sugar and I am the Player Agent in tmbu.

What I do in a nutshell: I am the player agent for all players in tmbu. So come free agency, I take all offers on the free agents, confer with my player and decide what is in the best interest for him. I also do all the negotiations for extensions. A GM will email his offer and together with the player, him and I will formulate a counter offer, sign the contract, or elect to go take our chances in the upcoming free agency period.

I look at many things when I decide which player will accept which team's offer. "DESIRE TO PLAY FOR A WINNER", "LOYALTY", age, stats, and career stats all go into the decision making process.

So if you want to allow OOTP to sign your extensions or your free agents, then this is not the league for you. If you want some excitement during the offseason free agency and negotiations of extensions then you have found tmbu.

A great league, and no I dont own a team myself........just your friendly PA, Player Agent.

we'd love to get some new blood for these 2 teams. If you even have a thought about looking for a new league, you owe it to yourself to drop by tMBU.

As another owner mentioned we are a talent only league with no coaches/scouts which adds another dimension to the scouting that GM's do. You really have to rely on your gut as well as the statistics that the players are putting up at their respective levels within the organizations.

I mentioned we use a player agent for free agency and extensions. Here is a snippet from a first year owner after his first dealing with Bob Sugar.

It looks like we have a new GM in the fold so we're down to one opening. If you're looking for a great experience with great owners I really think you should check us out.
