Well established league, the VSBL, looking for owners

The Virtual Springfield Baseball League is looking for new owners. We are an established legacy league that we are putting through a "reboot."

Starting way back in OOTP 3, the VSBL has tried to mix competitiveness with friendly rivalries and humor to create a fun online experience. Over the past many years we have suffered some attrition due to new jobs and new families, and we decided it was time to go on a recruiting drive.

We saw the release of OOTP 2006 as a chance to restart our roster file and so we are starting over with a draft this weekend. We are using Cubby Fan's roster and rebuilding each team from the ground up.

If you are interested, we sim Monday through Friday, four games a day. Drafts and Playoffs are performed live when possible, and we hope to have an active email list with press releases and rival banter.

We have our own Webspace (http://www.vsbl.net - this too is getting revamped so please excuse the out of date links) and offer email forwarding or even an imap accounts.

As an owner you can place your team anywhere you wish on the planet, rename players if you choose, and even claim your stadium has a nuclear missile stockpile defending it from your cross town rivals (we once had a bit of a cold war happen in New Jersey).

Basically it is pretty open world with only the rules of baseball to restrict us.
