WSB needs five

The WSB has been around for 4 years real-time and headed into 2015 with five teams open.

Cleveland: The Tigers have won the division almost every year. Do you have what it takes to guide the Tribe to the top? This team is loaded offensively with MVP-candidates in Crawford, Carlock, and Vega. The pitching is solid with Touchstone, Fruto, and Blasko all contenders for the Cy. They've got the 12th best farm system and plenty of room financially.

Pittsburgh: With the 2nd-best farm system, the Pirates need someone to take them the next step. Cay you guide them to the top of the competitive NL Central?

Houston: The Astros are a bit of a rebuilding project. They have a solid rotation but offensively they look to be a mess. They have some room financially along with the 14th best farm system.

Arizona: The Dodgers are the Yankees of the WSB, with 4 championships. Can you guide the Diamondbacks to dethroning the Evil Empire? They've got the 11th-best farm system and plenty of room financially.

Tampa Bay: Playing in the tough AL East, the Devil Rays need some help overthrowing the Yankees and the Red Sox. They have some talent on the team, with League leading the rotation. Baldelli and Teixeira are still producing offensively. They have the 25th best farm system.

The season starts Wednesday. PM me (SportsGuySean) or email the commish if you are interested.

Still four good teams open

Cleveland is struggling a bit at 8-11 start but only 3.5 out of the division lead

Houston is only 2 games out in the NL Central at 9-11

Arizona is off to a great start leading the NL West at 12-7

Tampa Bay is 4 games back in the AL East at 9-11

The last sim for April is Friday night so it's still early enough for you to take any of these teams to the playoffs.

Tampa Bay has been filled but now we add another team to the list.

Toronto is looking for a new GM. The Jays have some of the pieces in place with several more on the way from one of the the top-ranked farm systems. Plus they have room financially to add someone as well.

PM me (SportsGuySean) or email the commish if you are interested.

World Series Baseball is still looking for 5 owners:

Cleveland Currently 45-44, 9.5 GB in the Central, 8 GB in the Wild Card, the Tribe have the key pieces in place to make a second-half run.

Toronto: The Jays are 30-57, last in the East. They are a challenge and need an owner willing to stick it out.

Houston At 39-48, the Astros are 12 GB and in last in the Central, but the pitching needs a couple offensive upgrades to possibly make a playoff run. Plus they have the 4th-best farm system so the future looks bright.

New York The Yankees sit in 2nd in the East but could contend for the playoffs with a few moves.

Arizona At 40-49 the D-Backs are fourth in the West, possibly the toughest division in the league. This team needs a committed owner to challenge the Dodgers, the WSB's evil empire.

PM me or email the commish if you are interested.

World Series Baseball is still looking for 3 owners. The trade deadline just passed.

Cleveland Currently 61-51 the Tribe are only 2.5 GB in the Wild Card race.

Toronto: The Jays are 38-72, last in the East. Right now they would have the #2 pick in next year's draft.

New York: The Yankees, at 54-58, sit in 2nd in the East. They have the pieces in place to possibly make a late run for the playoffs.

Here's the link to the message board forum and here's the linke to the league front page.

We just hit September 1st with three teams open:

New York: The Yankees are in second in the AL East and 12 GB in the wild card race. The pieces are in place if you want to contend next year.

Toronto: The Blue Jays will have one of the top two picks in next year's draft. They are a couple of moves away from challenging for the playoffs.

Cleveland: In a three-way tie for the wild card lead, the Tribe would be a great team for a GM wanting to be competitive immediately.

Is Cleveland still open and which OOTP format do you use? If Cleveland isn't available, are there any NL teams obtainable?

We've filled both Toronto and New York, but Cleveland and St. Louis are now open. Free agency is starting Friday night.
