I can't believe I am doing this....

There are just too many leagues out there. I remember the good old days of the FPS series when a commish had to be dedicated to his league... HOURS each night were spent creating and updating web pages, entering in rosters by hand, churning out newly created rookies.... it was work not for the weary nor the faint.

But now.... thanks to some distant European known only as Markus..... *anyone* with 15 minutes on their hands and a fingernail grasp of cut/paste technology can create a league and set up shop faster than you can download the game.

Alas... the proliferation, overproduction, mass spawning... whatever your reproductive term....has claimed the owners. Many signatures in this forum bear witness to multiple leagues, some even listed as suspended.

I have read the various league forums, noted the ones that looked worthy, contacted a shortened list of those. Most were already stretched too thin, tattooed with mulitple four-letter acronyms. "No, thank you. Fifteen is my limit on schnitzengruben."

Now, in the quiet blackness of the desert night, I am left with only one course....

I must pimp my league.

Its not easy to Pimp your league, but sometimes you gotta do, what you gotta do.

Good luck!

That is yet another sweet looking league. Too bad you could not import the FPS 1995-2001 season info.

Is it possible to import the FPS league? I ran an FPS league called the WWBL - Worldwide Baseball League for almost 5 years until stopping when I couldn't get the game to run on Windows XP.

If it was possible, I'd consider importing that league

Free Agent Signing starts tomorrow (Tuesday, 27th). There are some good teams available, and some serious talent up for bid.
All the responses I have had so far are from the younger crowd. I'd like to get some older owners. No offense, young 'ens, but this is your daddy's league.

The NOBL ran 14 seasons (1994-2008). 1995-2001 referred to the actual years the league was in operation.
And yes, it would have been great to import those years. We were just getting our first 500 HR hitters, 300 game winners, 3000 hits, etc.

Ah, memories. It was truly a great league.
