This is an OOTP6.5 league.

The Classic Internet Baseball League (CIBL) started in 1980 and is presently in the 1994 season.

The league sims 3 times a week, 8 days per sim.

As of today, there are 2 openings. The LA Dodgers and the San Diego Padres.

The Dodgers are 3.5 games out of first and has star players such as Lenny Dykstra, Kal Daniels, Dave Henderson.

The Padres are 10.5 games out of first and have such stars as Tim Naehring, Ken Dayley, John Smoltz, Jamie Moyer. Several hitting prospects.

Season flip to 1995 will be Monday night.

Available teams are the Colorado Rockies (72-90), Florida Marlins (63-99), and Boston Red Sox (80-82).

The current plan for this league is to continue to use OOTP 6.5 for at least two more seasons.

CIBL continues with the preseason of 1995.

We still have the Rockies available.

We also have a couple of other teams that may become available very soon.

If you're weary of sloppily run leagues, you'll really appreciate this one, as Chris runs a tight ship. Everything is well-tended, and the sims come off on time.

For the most part, it's a good, conscientious group of GMs (including two former commishes). I've enjoyed this league a lot and hope I can stick around.
