League Looking for Owners

The very staid and upright and righteously serious ACL is looking for three owners to take over franchises.

This is a historical greats league winding up it's playoffs during it's 6th season.

We have a good core of owner's but the same franchises keep turning over. The league is a challenge and we accept experienced players or new players. We are friendly yet competitive. We are compassionate yet devil-may-care. Some of us are young while others are old.

What we all share is a love for the history of the game. What it has meant to each of us throughout time and how baseball (even sim baseball) can bring us together to experience our love for the game and each other.

I invite each and every one of you to visit us, our pages, our forum, our site, and see for yourself who we are. If you feel like this is the kind of place where you can hang your hat and let everybody know your name, please join us.

Only the George Brett led Kansas City Royals are still available.

Mr. Brett will be interviewing prospective owners shortly so email the commishioner and let him know you are interested in guiding this once proud franchise back to respectibility.

Remember, only the good die young. Virginia told me that.

To all who can read:

This is a superior OOTP4 league. There are a number of fine gentlemen who participate in this league on a regular basis. (Those who don't participate on a regular basis may also be fine gentlemen, but I doubt it.)

The commish and co-commish form a dynamically sound duo who never miss running a sim or posting the file. I am told they are also fine dance partners.

For me, this league is my ultimate challenge. It is the only league in which I participate that I have not carried off the championship banner. In fact, my Giants have the dubious (actually, humiliating) distinction of being ousted three straight years courtesy of nine consecutive playoff game losses. This year, I did not make the playoffs, but I take solice in the fact that the commish's team coughed, sputtered, and died as well.
