Fast-play random historical league needs 2

Baseball Thru The Years (aka BaTTY) is a fast-play league simming a season each week with a big twist: players are completely random, meaning GMs have no idea when any particular player will debut.

Players are normalized to their target seasons, so that for example Frank Robinson, who was one of the original players, had his career which ran from 1956-76 in real life, "transported" to the late 1890s/early 1900s, with his stats normalized to the dead ball era.

We have just finished 1904, so it's still early and the plan is to run through the year 2000 for exactly 100 years of history. The league is in - and will remain in - OOTP 6.5 for the course of its run.

The available teams are Cleveland and Brooklyn. Brooklyn narrowly missed winning the NL pennant despite being without a GM for several seasons now (remember a season only takes 1 week). Brooklyn's roster includes Eric Gagne, Todd Benzinger, Nick Johnson, Ron Hodges, Pat Zachry and Javier Vazquez. Cleveland is anchored by the great Sandy Koufax (who is tremendous in ANY era) and also has Joe DiMaggio and Lou Whitaker to build an offense around.

The way BaTTY works is this:

on Mondays we sim April and May of the season
Tuesdays is June and July (ending on 7/31 for trade-deadline deals)
Wednesdays is the final regular season sim
Thursdays is the World Series
Fridays is draft day, with draft being done via list for round 1 with the computer drafting rounds 2 thru 4.

Every draft has exactly enough players for four rounds. Only players with at least one-half season of real MLB team are eligible, cutting down on marginal players making a huge impact.

BaTTY is also being tracked as an OOTP dynasty in the dynasty forum and the 14 GMs involved are all top-notch OOTP vets.

Brooklyn has been grabbed, but Cleveland still needs a GM. Koufax & Joltin' Joe are quite a pair to build around in Cleveland...
