Good GM looking for a league...

Hey, I am an experienced GM with OOTP and am in a few leagues, including WSBL, the best league I am in. I'd like to join a relatively new league becuase some other leagues i am flat out suck, so if know of a good league with openings leme know. It may be an inside joke, but that doesn't change the fact that it's a common reaction. Much like if I have an "inside joke" that went something like "Hey... did ya hear? jblaze has trouble spelling" it doesn't mean that it won't be a common phrase outside of the clique who know the joke.

The TSTBL has 3 openings that we're trying to fill immediately. Portland, Memphis and Toledo are all available. We're using 2002 rosters, but have included only those major leaguers under the age of 26 as of 4/2/02.

Just for the record, he is referring to the MLB league. And as the recently departed commish (having to step down because of work related matters), I take serious offense to claiming it sucks.

While it might not get a ton of press, we have been a solid competitive league for 6 seasons now.

Don't dish out "inside jokes" simply because you two owners could not build a winning team, just over the hill expensive 500 ball clubs.

PS. In a previous thread I read, Pat it is grammatically correct to say "I couldN'T care less" Pet peeve of mine, if you could care less, then why make the statement?

You guys are free to have your opinion, but I think MLB is one of the best run and best looking leagues out there. It's got a strong history and a core of dedicated and knowledgable owners.

Poorly run? Please, it's run very smoothly. It's not the commish's fault if he has a life and has to bump a few sims back.

Maybe if you and others participated a little more it wouldn't be such a bad experience.

Besides, if you dislike it so much, why stay with it?
