NOBL Begins 2nd Season

Pitching Injuries Plague NOBL's First Week

L-R: Pitchers Rosario(COL), Gorsuch(DET), Hathaway(AZ), Armand(FLA), McGee(SD)

An already thin league-wide talent pool of pitching has been further taxed by arm troubles. This early season rash of injuries has several GM's scrambling to fill in rotations. Arizona ace Robert Hathaway (15-6, 3.11 last season) heads the list, but similar injuries to Detroit's Gorsuch and Florida's Armand could definitely impact their respective team's playoff chances. Gorsuch and Armand look to be out all of April, and neither team has a reliable replacement. Hathaway, part of Arizona's 4-man rotation implemented this season by manager Levi Boyd, refused to comment on whether or not he felt the extra work he got this Spring in preparation to pitch on 3 days rest had anything to do with his current arm injury.
