NBSL Rolls to 2006 Playoffs
The Perennial NL powerhouse Colorado Rockies could possibly break the regular season wins mark of 121, and they have 2 weeks to do it, and sit at 114 wins. The Rockies have played in 4 of the 5 world series coming away with one title.
The upstart Florida Marlins sit 2 games behind NL East power Atlanta, Houston and Cincinnati will round out the NL participants. Cleveland rolled to another AL Central crown, while Texas and Oakland duked it out in the AL West, both will likely have 100 win seasons. Meanwhile the surprising Washington Senators gave all they could muster but it looks like they will fall behind 2004 champion Toronto Blue Jays. The Jays might have the same road to the title in 2006 that they had in 2004. Check us out for more. |
