The Pensacola Parrots and Dodge City Marshals are open as we hit our 2008 post season. Both of these are solid clubs that could find their way to the 2009 post season with an active owner. Another club came open this morning... We've now got the following clubs available and in need of active owners:

Las Vegas Gamblers - This club needs a lot of work, but if you like a challenge and have the time, this club could be for you.

Chicago Northsiders - Winners of the 2007 World Series and won their division in 2008 before falling out of the play-offs in Divisional Series play. Solid club that can compete now.

Dodge City Marshals - Another solid club that could compete now with the right owner. Won their division in 2007, but finished third in 2008 with an inactive owner. Tough division, but probably could have been in the Wild Card chase with an active owner.

Suicide Squeeze is in its 3rd season and currently at the end of May in the 2009 season. We're still usining OOTP 2007 / OOTP 8 and have the following openings:

Homestead Grays. This is an under achieving team in a tough division. If you're the type of owner that likes good competition and have time to put into a team, this club is for you. This club has lacked an active owner for a couple seasons now.

Lexington Reds. Currently sitting in second place in their division, but have the tools to make a run at the division title with an active owner. This is a solid club ready to compete now.

Toronto Storm. The Storm are currently sitting in last place in their division, but are only 3.0 games out of first. With an active owner, this club has the potential to repeat as division champs this season.

We've got a great group of core owners. 21 of our 24 owners are extremely active and we need to add 3 more to round things out. If interested, please contact commish@suicide-squeeze.net with the following info:

The Toronto Storm are open again. The owner that recently took the club over realized he didn't have time for the league. This is a decent club that has the potential to make a run at the post season. We're nearing the All Star break in our 2009 season. Great time to join and see if you can push this club into the post season...
