VBL4 Has One Opening

Need a good OOTP 6.5 league which is well-run with a great group of owners? The VBL4 (www.virtualbaseball.org/vbl4) is getting ready to enter its eighth season (1987) and is looking for an owner for the Springfield franchise. (The franchise can be relocated to whatever location you wish!)

The VBL4 has a great core group of owners who have been active in virtual baseball leagues using OOTP and/or Front Page Sports Baseball Pro '98 for several years. (VBL4 uses OOTP 6.5.) We also have a group of owners who are relatively new to the game, so there's a good mix. The VBL4 has a very dedicated commissioner (that would be me) who tries to make the league as exciting and fun as possible. We use historical rosters (a few fictional players have been mixed in to add depth to the league) from the 1980s. Check us out at www.virtualbaseball.org/vbl4 for additional information.

Read the league's Constitution to see if this looks like the league for you. All I can guarantee is that we have a good time and try to make things as fun as possible. I also do my best to support all owners, new and experienced, whenever they need help. Again, check the Springfield franchise (click on the current standings link, then on Springfield) if you're interested. We do not have high ownership turnover, so if you're a dedicated owner looking for a great league, act quickly! (Note: Ownership of OOTP 6.5 is not a requirement for participation in this league, though we do make use of a league file, etc. for all people who do own the game.)
