The JL has an opening, one of our owners can't get his game to work.
The Linstead Green Sox are open. We're about to begin our first season, we're simming Spring Training tonight and our first regular season will start on Tuesday 12 August. Email or PM me if you'd like to join. |

Ochorios Jazz open.
Still in our first season, we just had September callups. Getch's Utilities installed, plus a custom set of logos designed by a professional artist. Check us out! |

I agree. If Satch is involved you can count on it being a fun and well-run league.

We have an open organization, our Kingston Pelicans need an owner.
We just finished our inaugural season, next one launches this weekend. Live draft Monday night. Last edited by satchel; 09-27-2008 at 12:36 AM. |

I got in on the tail end of the season. I can't say enough about how well the league is run. Satchel spares no detail in making sure all GM's are up to snuff on league happenings, as well as taking their input and injecting it into the league.
Other than that, the settings really lend themselves to creating a more life-like experience. Talent only, no actual ratings, is a brilliant challenge when adjusting your club tree, as well as setting your optimal lineups. I highly recommend this league. |

I'd like to give a shout out of thanks to all my owners. These guys are smart, dedicated, active, and understanding. We're a fortunate league.
My advice to all aspiring Commishes: if you build it, they will come. |

This league is the closest you can come to having a true GM experience. With actual ratings turned off, as well as stars, it's up to you to decipher who has declined severely, who hasn't lived up to the hype, and which platoon player to give more playing time.
Satchel is an excellent commish, constantly keeping up with what's good for the league, new ideas from fellow GM's, and whatever else is needed to keep the league running smoothly. You'll find that he's most dedicated to the JL, as well as providing an overall great experience for all. |

Both teams available are well within reach of being title contenders.
St. Ann has never finished under .500. Granted, we've only completed 2 seasons, but you get the idea. They boast an awesome rotation, with no less than 3 of the top 20 starters in the league. The Northerns were within games of taking the division title last season, only to lose hold in the final weeks. Portmore is THE team on the rise. Although they've had some rough times out of the gate, they're clearly putting it together this season. The Pirates are tied for the division lead at 28-18. The roster contains two superstars, OF Jarred Bartlett, a 5 tool hitter, as well one of the best starters in the league, Ezra Longueville, a power pitcher with a career ERA of 2.75. Come join the fun! |
