New Super-fast league, The EHDL, is now recruiting.

The Everyday Heroes Dynasty League (EHDL) is ready to start recruiting.

Visit the recently created forum, read the rules, join the forum and fire me off a PM if interested.

This league has been discussed in this thread, and this project is rapidly taking shape.
The league file is almost ready, all that remains is recruitment and team selection.

We were slow to develop...but we will move at lightning speed from here on. This is a FAST PACED league. Micromanagers may feel like they are lacking control, but dynasty lovers will enjoy seeing their 1st round draft picks retire and enter the hall of fame.

The EHDL uses OOTP9...game is mandatory.

Team selection
Starting in 1920, with real teams & players. Game simmed from 1871 to end of season 1919 with all teams run by the AI. After 1 week of GM recruiting, a draw will be done to determine team selection order. A poll will be conducted as to whether or not it will be a blind selection, or if the league file will be viewable before hand. If a blind selection is chosen, I will choose last as I will be the only person with knowledge of the teams before hand.
If not all teams are filled, remaining teams may be snapped up blind, on a first come first serve basis.

Financials
$65mil hard salary cap
All markets will be equal at start up
Salaries will not be historical. They will be inflated to 1990. This is to prevent having to increase the salary cap to deal with inflation.
All bids, extensions handled in game and exported by you.

Database.
We will use the New Spritze 4.0 db. No modifications will be made to ratings. If your favorite player imports poorly or inaccurately, I apologize. This is an alternate reality.

General Rules
Injuries On
Coaches/Scouts Off
Waivers Off
Rule 5 Off
Roster size increased to 27. To give flexibility with injuries during long sim.

Draft
Draft to be held at the trade deadline using the in game tool.
Trading of draft picks for current year only
Draft position to be determined by OOTP, EXCEPT for the 3 first picks. An unweighted draw will be done between the teams picking 1st 2nd and 3rd as determined by OOTP to determine the order of the first 3 selections.

Participation.
Be aware this is a fast paced league. There is going to be something happening everyday. If you are not able to export regularly, you will be at a huge disadvantage and you probably wont enjoy this league.
Regular exports are expected. A GM missing 3 in a row without warning will be replaced.
There are no writing assignments, or participation bonuses. Your bonus for participating is winning!

Conduct
Don't be a twit. Be nice. Have fun and help others have fun.
You don't have to be "Joe Everythingissunshine" but the usual codes of common decency apply.

Sim Schedule.
The league will start on a Monday (which Monday depends on how quickly the league fills up)
Monday-Sim April
Tuesday- Sim May
Wed-Sim June (Ammy list released)
Thur-Sim July up to Trade Deadline
Friday & Sat, No sim, but new files posted to update draft and deadline deals.
Sat 10pm EST, Trade Deadline
Sunday-Sim August
Monday-Sim til end of reg season
Tues-Sim playoffs
Wed-Season flipped, FA bidding begins
Thur, Fri, Sat, -FA bidding,
Sun, Spring Training sim to opening day.
Rinse and Repeat
(that is 1 season every two weeks real-time for those mathematically challenged)

Rules to be edited, improved, tweaked as experience and league opinion dictate.

After 36 hours, we have 15 of 16 teams filled.

Once we get the last owner, the team selection lottery will be held.

1st sim will be Monday Aug 18.
