HBL Expanding to 24 Teams, Needs 2 Loyal Owners for Expansion Franchises

The HBL will be entering its' 29th season with OOTP after starting in May of 2001 (real-time). We are a 20 team league that will be expanding to 22 teams in the upcoming season, and then to 24 shortly thereafter. We are also converting from v8 to v9 after this season as well.

If you are an active and loyal OOTPer, this is a great opportunity to get in a stable league, but at the ground floor of a franchise.

We need 2 owners for expansion franchises. We have not yet decided if we are expanding in the AL or NL, but the new owners will have input in that, as well as choosing the teams that they want to control.

If you don't have the patience to tough out a few inevitable losing seasons, please don't apply. It is very likely that we will ask for some kind of reference that you have OOTP experience or are/have been an active member of another online league.

I've only got OOTP9 and am a rookie for online leagues, but I'm dedicated as hell and would be eager at a shot.

I am very much interested in an expansion team and thought it would be hard but fun task to take. I started with ootp2007. I am currently in 1 league. I have the San Francisco Giants. I struggled the first year with only 55 wins but I remolded the whole team. Second season I was the second best team with 103 wins, just 1 game back of the best record in the league. I checked your forums quickly and it looks like your league is full. Have you filled both expansion teams?

yes, we did fill both expansion teams, but if you sign the waiting list forum you'll be contacted as soon as a team opens up.
