Just finished our 2009 season and converted from OOTP 2007/8 to OOTP 9. We're getting ready to start the 2010 Off-Season and need to fill a few clubs due to the conversion to OOTP 9.

Belle Vue Brawlers - Solid club that has been in the play-off hunt each of the past 3 seasons. With an active owner, this club has great potential.

Homestead Grays - If you like rebuilding projects, this team may be for you. Good foundation in the farm system to build upon.

Iowa Barnstormers - Excellent young club that made the post season this past year. This club should be ready to compete for many seasons to come in the leagues toughest division.

Pensacola Parrots - Club is headed in the right direction and has the luxury of being in a weak division at the moment. Former owner decided not to upgrade to OOTP 9, thus the opening.

Toronto Storm - This club has been in the post season hunt since the league began and plays in the same division as Pensacola. An active owner could see the post season with the right moves.

Vancouver Cannons - Balanced club that is ready to compete now.

I have no idea why this league has so many openings. Lonnie is a great commish and runs this league extremely well. He's a very forward thinking Commissioner and this league has a lot going for it. You can rename your team to what you want, and build your team around your ballpark which is configurable. I have been in many leagues and know what I speak of as far as this being a good solid league. As an active owner I expect to make the postseason in my second full season after being a cellar dweller before I took the team on. You can compete in short order too the way this league is set up, even if your team is poor right now.

I look forward to this league's sims every day, and if you join I have no doubt you will also come to love the league.

This is the best league I've been in, bar none. The league setup is creative without losing a good sense of baseball "purity," the owners are active, and the commissioner stays on top of things. We've lost owners due to the conversion, but this is a very stable league. If you're looking for a good league, you won't find one better than this.

So I've been with this league in its various formats since OOTP2006. I wouldn't stick around if it wasn't great.

The commish is on top of everything. Consistent, scheduled simming. A very competitive league.

Some of you might know me from other leagues and get a better idea of how good the league is based on my 'rep' (yeah, flame me...).

I haven't been a member of Suicide-Squeeze as long as some of the other GMs, but I've enjoyed be a member of this league very much as GM of the Lexington Reds franchise. In fact, I only bought OOTP9 just so I could continue to be a participant.

Lonnie does a great job as commish. The sims are always prompt and Lonnie keeps the GMs informed as to upcoming dates regarding league events.

I especially like the participation incentive point system where you can accumulate points from article writing, export participation, etc.) that you can spend to improve player's ratings. This is the first league I've been involved in that has used a system like this and it really adds to your interest and enjoyment.

If you're looking to join an OOTP9 league, I hope you will consider Suicide-Squeeze. If you enjoy the entire OOTP experience and want to be able to do more than just plugging in an export every three days and waiting for the result, then check out the web site further and see what you think.

Tokyo Giants just came open. The previous owner started the rebuilding project for this club so a new owner will have a solid foundation to build upon.

We just moved the league to a new server so things are in the process of getting updated on the site. We've got a good group of owners and now is an excellent time to join as we're wrapping up our 2010 season. The off-season will be starting soon.

As our 2010 season World Series sim is tomorrow night, I anticipate we'll have 4 openings. We've got 3 new owners lined up and ready to join, but may be looking to add one more.

The Caledonia Fighting Scots may become available and this is not your everyday open club. The Scots have won 100 or more games the past 3 seasons and could be in a position to make some play-off noise over the next few seasons as well.

This is a fantastic league with plenty of activity and interaction. Lonnie does an outstanding job as Commish. Caledonia is one of the top teams in the league, no rebuild required. Contend right away.
