Fictional, Potential-Only League Has Openings

Hey guys, the Rising Star League, currently in the middle of its 20th season (though only the second season of human-manager play) has a few openings!

Here are a few key things to note about the RSL:

• The League uses a Potential Only talent display. Players' current talent ratings will not be displayed. This has been done to increase the realism of the General Manager's position. Do you gamble that a 37 year old, whose numbers began to dip last year, has a few years left in him? When is the right time to call up that prospect who's tearing up AAA? How soon can you give up on a struggling youngster and move him to another team? If you're unsure what this means, check out the League Reports that I linked above.
• Displayed Potential Talents are on a 1-10 scale.
• The OOTP9 Scouting and Coaching system is not used.
• Four sims per week (Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday), one game week per sim.

We've got a couple teams open. A few owners have had to drop for a variety of reasons - they weren't comfortable with a Potential only system, they found that they didn't have the time to devote to the league...one poor guy even had to withdraw because he lost his job during the financial district craziness a few weeks ago.

We've got a great group of guys still active of course, but I'd like to fill up the empty slots that we have now rather than wait for the offseason.

Minneapolis Vikings
Cleveland Tigers
Milwaukee Brewers

Atlanta is now filled, but Minneapolis, Cleveland, and Milwaukee remain available!

(Actually, I think Cleveland has been taken. Isn't it the Minneapolis Vikings that are still available, Mr. Commish?)

Whoever takes over the Vikings will be getting into the Western Conference North Division, which has been strong in our 2009 season. The North has won 56.2 percent of inter-division games against the South. The North is also the home of my Chicago Phantoms. Would love to have an active, muckraking owner to butt heads against!

Err...yes, Minneapolis. Not really sure how I did that since I was setting up Cleveland as I was posting that.
