Gauging Interest: 1980s Quickstart
I am planning on making a 1980 quick-start with all the minors fleshed from the Sabr site. Of course there are going to have to be a couple of changes so that each team has one team at each level for a MP league. I will be using Spritze's DB so that everyone comes in when they were drafted not when they made their Majors debut. I plan on using a slightly modified Talent randomness and age/development ratings. I am wondering if there would be enough interest in this league to make it a online deal. If so I will get a site up for it and everything.
So if you are interested please post here and let me know. If I can get enough interest I will get everything up very quickly. |

I would be interested, however in January I would need a leave of absence for two months as I'd be in San Antonio Texas for Basic Training....but besides that I am interested. Be the San Francisco Giants

Cool now that I am seeing some interest I will start heavily looking for a housing site. I have run into a bit of an issue in that I thought the DB that I was using would put players on the right team but it won't so I am going to have to fix guys on the right teams. I will keep everyone appraised of the situation.
More news soon. |

I have been running some test leagues and still have a few kinks to iron out. Plus I am trying to figure out how to edit players in the DB and also change the teams that players appear on. Also some issues with the minors I have to get rid of a couple of teams that were unaffiliated in 1980. But don't worry I have not forgotten.
