- Special league rules: $75 mil payroll cap (enforced by OOTP), trading of rounds 1-5 picks allowed, team cash cap and profit sharing (enforced by OOTP), special new ownership introduction reset of below average team market & fan loyalty, abbreviated draft lottery system for top 3 picks, fast off seasons and sim schedule allow for quick rebuilds of team.
- Number of teams: 28
- OOTP version: OOTP9 - Patch version 9.2.13

The Cooperstown Diamonds Legends is currently celebrating it's 64th season of exciting OOTP brand fake baseball, and we have a rare ownership vacancy. This is a terrific opportunity to get into one of the most long running and established OOTP on-line leagues out there.

Here is some info about the CDL:
- Simple league rule instructions makes getting up to speed easy. Rules like a $75 mil team payroll cap enforced by the game, team cash caps and profit sharing (also administered by the game), rounds 1-5 draft pick trading, and special new owner introduction rules (resetting new owner team market and fan loyalty to AVG if they are below that mark).
- Friendly and mature ownership group, average age is over 30.
- Consistency has been a staple of the CDL - we have never missed a sim in the leagues 7 real time year history!
- League began as a historical league, but at this point (current CDL year: 2033) we are a fictional league.
- Casual & helpful atmosphere, if you don't have access to OOTP for awhile due to trips or other real life events the league office will be happy to process any instructions via email.
- Fast off-season and sim schedule allow you to reach rebuild strategy goals quickly.

CDL History:
- One of the oldest active OOTP on-line leagues, the league began in early 2001.
- The league has used OOTP3, OOTP4, OOTP5, OOTP6, OOTP6.5, OOTP 2007/OOTP8, and now OOTP9 version 9.2.13.

Smply put, this is quite possibly the best online league EVER put together. It is mentioned that it is a rare opening at that's a fact, this is one very competitive league with an outstanding group of owners.

If you want the most realistic test of running a franchise with a commisioner's office that is 2nd to none, this is where to be. Beware though, you willl be up against some of the more elite players of the game. So if you think winning is easy, test your skill here you won't be sorry.

I'm definately interested! I'm 35 years old and have been playing since OOTP since 2003. I'm part of two leagues right now - Arcanum and vMLB. I run the Detroit Tigers in vMLB and the Boston Braves in the Arcanum, (historical league). Let me know if you have a spot.

Hi guys. Thanks very much for the kind words statman, though I would not say the CDL ever was or even tried to be among the best dozen plus online leagues. I think any good 'rep' the league has earned has been due to it's 7 years of stability and it's mature ownership group. It's not for everyone but I think our style of online league play suits some types of people very well.

Regarding the open team: The spot is taken but it never hurts to send an email in anyways so you can be contacted first when a new opportunity comes.
