New League with OOTP 9

I am starting a league with OOTP 9. I have been involved with OOTP since 2003. We're looking for committed general managers. We're using current rosters. Therefore, we'll be starting with the '09 season. I will be updating the rosters up until the last team is taken, and the league is underway. This league requires an AIM account, so It'll be easy to discuss trades. Post your E-mail, AIM, and the five teams that'll you'll be interested in running. It's first come, first serve. I have a website, and I should be done with it by the middle of next week. Any questions, post them here, or if you want them kept confidential, you can e-mail me at Sportsmn2005@gmail.com. The other threads were by accident, I didn't know that a moderator has to approve every single thread or post. And, if you are not interested in joining my league -- or have any questions regarding the league -- and you just want to criticize me, than I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't post in this thread.

If you're a new user you can't see your posts/threads until they are approved and neither can non-moderators, so it's entirely possible that you think it hasn't accepted your thread or post so you re-do it.

I'd be interested in joining the league as a GM but I would like to learn a little more if thats possible. I'd like to take a look at the site when it comes up too.

What would you like to know? It's a pretty standard league. 30 teams, 30 Human General Managers. You're allowed to trade draft picks. If you make the playoffs, your team will receive a bonus. If you move on to the LCS, you'll receive a bigger bonus, then if you make it to the World Series, an even bigger bonus. Then, an even bigger bonus if you win the World Series. I'm thinking about adding a casino, where you'll be able to bet on real games. This time of the year, you'll be able to bet on college basketball, NHL, and NBA games. You'll be able to use those points on a player(s) you want improved. But, there will be a limit on improving those players. Also, I'm thinking about giving points to people who post articles about Projections, trades, etc. Also, if one of your best prospects suffers a career-ending injury, you'll be able to use those points to drop it to a season-ending injury. I'll take any ideas, and suggestions.

We have 8 general managers. From here on out, if someone can bring more people, I will reward them with 200 points per referral. A limit of 1000 points..
