Asahi2 - Cards, Indians, Dodgers
All are open. These are three of our chronic teams. We have, by and large, a stable base. Over half the league has 20 or so seasons in and a good number of the rest have 5-10 in. The Dodgers and Indians seem to turn over once or twice a season. The Cards had a great owner who built them up very nicely over several seasons...then vanished. They've had one owner since the vanishing.

great league with a number of highly active & successful owners. Our commissioner is outstanding; consistent, helpful, & gets assistance from our community.
League started in 1960. Free agency has a unique bidding system within our message boards. Amateur drafts are also conducted within the message boards. Scouting is on. Historical league in 1989. Expansion and league changes are voted on. We have a consistent number of votes that come up from time to time so that all owners are involved in major league decisions. I cannot stress enough, there will be a lot of competition in your quest for the Asahi2 World Series Trophy. ![]() Cardinals : pretty bad shape, they will need a complete overhaul. Non-existent farm system. Most Popular Players: Sixto Lezcano (35) & Oscar Gamble (39) Young Stars?: C Joe Girardi, SP William Brennan negative: The Cardinals are in the same division as the Pittsburgh Pirates - a juggarnaut that has won 116 games and 113 games in back to back seasons. Dodgers: an exciting farm system which includes 22-year old OF Albert Belle. At the major league level, a 26 year old RF Cory Synder hit .287 with 27 homers last season. And 23 year old SS Jeff Blauser played in 156 games while hitting .293 with 15 homers. negative: The Dodgers are in the same division as the SF Giants, winners of the NL West 8 out of the last 10 seasons. Indians: A number of solid major league players. Two young starters in Greg Hibbard & Brian Holman, as well as superstar Lenny Dykstra. 21 year old Greg Jefferies starts at 3B. I would say the Cardinals would be the greatest challenge and longest rebuild. The Indians have a lot of parts you can work with right away. And the Dodgers have some pieces like Belle that could come together down the road, while also putting out a better MLB team then the Cardinals. |
