We are only 20 players away from the Inaugural Draft. Feel free to stop by the forum and give us a look. Hope to see some new faces soon so that we can get this league off of the ground.

Hello everyone, as Rachel stated above, we are only in need of 13 more players, basically, 5-new members making our inaugural season max of 3-players would help us reach that number and surpass it.

Any of you that may be interested, but have never participated in a league like this, come on by and make a few players and see how you like it. Remember, even tho a players leagues rely heavily on member participation, that in no way means you have to be on the board every day. Come by every other day, every week or once a month. We will not rule a player inactive until his handler has exceeded 30-days from his/her last login on the forum, so you see, you don't have to live on the board, but if you want to really work on your player and accumulate as many upgrade points as you can to make your player better, the more active you will have to be. It is entirely up to you.

The interaction between members is really what makes these leagues fun and Steve and myself are looking forward to getting to know our members better and hopefully some more of you out there who haven't joined yet.

Come on by, take a look, make a few players and get to know some new people and join the fun!

Just wanted to bump this and let everyone know that we have held the Inaugural Draft and the first sim will be held on Tuesday.

We are always looking for new players, and we are always taking applications for GM. We are hoping to expand the league by 4 teams after the season, so stop by and check us out!

This League is without doubt a very interesting twist on the normal "sim" experience... By having all the players be controlled by real people (players with the opportunity to grow in Ability and Skill) there is the potential for a whole new level of complexity, interaction and fun.

Imagine the possibilities. Real negotiations with your players. Real personality clashes. Decisions that will affect real people. They have a system of Business and Commerce interwoven into the game which is really unique. People can run Businesses and experience role playing to as complex or simple as one chooses.

I just joined the other day and although I am a free agent and have not really been able to participate much- I know a fantastically implemented idea when I see one. Browsing the forums and looking at the options available to players and managers alike along with the limitless possibilities to role play and help really create a History in a well thought out Baseball League is just a concept too good to pass up on.

Now, we need some more players to expand the League (and so I can get off the Free Agents list Dammit =P ) and some creative and unique personalities to fill our ranks.... This is truly a Baseball "sandbox" League in that anything is possible. Now lets start building a Sandcastle of EPIC proportions.

The Lincoln Cardinals are available. They are currently in last place in the Eastern League. The team has a lot of talent, though. You must own OOTP 9 to apply for the GM position. To apply, please register on the league forum, create your players, and post an application.

In case anyone is interested, the Lincoln Cardinals are still open. As of yesterday I took them over temporarily to get the team in order before we find someone to permanently take over and went thru the rotation, lineups and player strategies and the team had a 7-0 sim! This team has been in last place for the most part for this first season, but the team has some talent, it just needs someone to take the time and utilize that talent properly and I think they could be more than just a last place team. That 7-0 sim was against some teams going to the playoffs, so that gives you just a little idea what the team is capable of.
