Looking for League to Join

I've been looking for a league to join for years with no luck. First of all, I want to play with my team, the Phillies. To me, that's why I play OOTP. Second, the few teams I did try to join as the Phillies just never went anywhere, so I want to join a league with good a good administration, and a group of GMs who actually participate. I also want modern day baseball as the era, and I would like it if the league used scouts and coaches as well, and also used all MLB rules to the best of OOTPs ability. Am I going to be waiting a lifetime?

I am in a league that is currently between seasons and looking for owners. Some of the highlights of the league are :

* We use OOTP 9 and will be staying with it even with the upcoming release of OOTP 10 so we will be around a while without you having to upgrade to the new version when it comes out.
* We are currently in the 2020 offseason with free agency about to begin. We are taking a small break to find some new owners before the free agency period begins, so you could hit the ground running.
* We use real players, but since we are so far into our history, those players are being replaced slowly.
* We have 8 teams available, which are :

1. Houston - won the World Series last year
2. Atlanta
3. Florida
4. Philadelphia
5. Cincinnati
6. St. Louis
7. Arizona
8. Los Angeles Dodgers
9. San Fransisco
10. Toronto

We use a point system for player development. Points can be accrued in various ways from writing stories to betting in the leagues book.

If you think you might be interested, you can check out the league at Over The Fence Baseball league. If you decide you would like to join, just post in the Join/Wait forum and let them know you were referred by the Cubs GM.

I have to be honest...that point system for development doesn't really do it for me.

There's a not a lot of online leagues that will use scouting and coaches.

That said, eMLB uses both. It would fit your bill perfectly, except that the Phillies GM is one of the most active participants in the league, and cofounded the league 8 years ago.

There are no current openings, so you'd go on a wait list.
