Great American Baseball Association needs owners!
Looks like the 2009 leagues are heating up now that Cubbyfan's excellent roster set is out. GABA was formed after another 2009 league startup failed. I decided to pick it up and get it started.
The league website is Great American Baseball Association We have 21 owners and we need 9 more to fill the league, so if you want to get into a league that is just starting using the 2009 roster set, here is your opportunity. If you are interested, check out the website and on the right hand side, you will see a block containing the name of the teams still needing owners. Email me directly at huskerdan25@msn if you want to join. You must have the game. Please don't post here that you want a particular team. Just email me directly. Thanks! GABA completes its first regular season (2009) tomorrow night and is about to enter the post-season. Currently, the following teams are available and we are looking for dedicated players to help make a strong league stronger.
* Minnesota Twins * Tampa Bay Rays I suspect we may lose an owner or two in the offseason but this is pretty normal. We are currently holding our roll call for the 2010 season. If you would like to join this modern league that is using the CubbyFan 2009 roster set, please contact me at huskerdan25@msn.com The information about the league is in the first post of this thread. GABA is about to crown its 2009 World Series Champs tomorrow night and move into the offseason and into the 2010 season. After the roll call, we have one team available and we are looking for a committed, active owner. You must have the game but you can have any level of experience. I have the patience and will work with a newbie, if necessary.
The team available is the Milwaukee Brewers. They finished 79-83 in the 2009 campaign and have some solid talent while playing in a very tough NL Central. I'm interested in joining....I'd prefer a National League team if possible. I'd really like to take the Giants if they are open.
