Lightbulb ORB Blue Jays, Astros open

Other Reality Baseball is looking for new GM's for the Toronto Blue Jays and Houston Astros.

The owners of these clubs, both long time owners in two of my other leagues (FPS) are dropping out voluntarily in order to improve the activity level of the league. The Blue Jays owner is even staying on as our webmaster.

This is the kind of dedication level we have here. Owners who are willing to give up their own franchises and yet continue to stay on and help just to see the level of competition increase.

See my latest recruiting thread for much, much more info on Other Reality Baseball.

if Matt lets me, I've asked to take over the Blue Jays, giving up my current team the Tigers. So if you were interested but didn't like the teams available, maybe this will get you interested.

While the Astros and Jays are both dwelling near the cellar, the Tigers are 40-32, 3.5 games back in the AL East. They have a couple of decent prospects, and a decent number of players up for extension at the end of the season, so you can keep the team together or re-shape it to your liking pretty quickly.

This is still pending Matt and the league's approval, however, if it will get a solid owner into the league quicker, I imagine it would help make the decision easier.

Once again I will say this is a great league with smart, competitive owners, and the commisioner has been running baseball legaues all his life, seemingly, so you know that this is a strong league in it for the long haul.

Come check us out!

This is confirmed. Andy will be switching to the Blue Jays. So now I've got the Tigers open, and I believe I have a qualified applicant for the Astros. Still more than willing to take applications for GM's, Assistant GM's, and Beat Writers.

Otherwise, just stop by and check out the league. We're going to be moving to a new sim schedule soon, three seven-day sims a week.
