How come the UK baseball league has only US teams?

The league started out, I believe, with the 2000 MLB roster. The league took on a life of its own from there. The originators of the league(two or three of which are still in the league) were from the UK...hence, the UKBL.

We're trying something new and fun tonight...I will be broadcasting the first two games of the UKBL World Series between the K.C. Royals and the juggernaut that is John's Ego....I mean the Milwaukee Brewers.
