The Boys of Summer League is looking for one owner. We sim between 3-4 times a week with ten days per sim. We have several incentives to improve your players - writing articles, Arizona Fall League, and a casino.
The Padres are open. Offensively, they feature Justin Smoak and Jeff Francoeur while Allen Harrington and Brandon Hamilton lead the pitching staff. Colt Hynes is one of the top closers in the league, anchoring down the Padres bullpen. Financially they are in fantastic shape, with enough money to add that missing piece to be title contenders next year. The Rays are open. They are the reigning World Series champions and a serious threat to repeat again this season. Most of the 2010 team is still intact, with Longoria, Beckham, Brignac, Price, and Kazmir still on the squad. Arguably the most balanced team in BSL, the club's finances should allow them to remain a title contender for the next few seasons. The Orioles are open. Weiters, Mauer, and West power the offense while Veres, Tillman, and Erbe form one of the best trios in the BSL. The team is in decent financial shape, depending on whether you resign Weiters. If you are looking for a rebuilding project, this would be a great team to reshape heading into the offseason. The game is required. The above three GM openings have been filled, but we have two more:
The Royals are open. Offensively, they have Ryan Flaherty, Kila Ka'aihue, and Jesus Bonilla powering the team. The pitching staff features one of the top starters in Freddy Ballestas and a great closer in Zack Stewart. With half of free agency left, the team could still add an impact player. The revenue almost covers the payroll to start the season so there is plenty of room to either contend or begin a rebuilding project. The Marlins are open. They have been a consistent 80-win team the past four years. With the right moves, they could make the leap to the playoffs. The team's lineup features Jed Lowrie, Adrian Gonzalez, Michael Stanton, and Rick Ankiel while the pitching staff is led by 23-year-old Edgar Olmos and 25-year-old Sklyer Crawford with Jose Ceda closing games out. The team does have a few key free agents so it could go either way - challenging for the playoffs or building for the future. The game is required.
