Introducing: The Npbl!!!

Hello everyone,
I'd like to introduce everyone to the National Past-time Baseball league. This is a 24-team Fictional player league with some neat features. I have worked hard on the page and decided not to announce any acknowledgement of its existence until it was ready to go. Well.. its ready to go. If you recognize the name NPBL its because I ran the league awhile back, however, immediatley following the release of the league, I went through a 6 month period of personal hell which caused the league to be the last thing on my mind. But now thats all over with so I decided to start from square 1, absolute scratch, and form a new league from the ground up, and I must say, this league blows the old one away!
Some of the features are:
-A Trophy to the Winner of the 1st year of the NPBL
-Create a prospect in your minor leagues with your Name (Details in Rules/Regs section of page)
-Option to rename your #1 Draft Pick in Inaugural draft
-Option to Slightly Alter your stadium (Details in Rules/Regs section of page)
-Name your Home Stadium and Minor League Affilliates (Details in Rules/Regs section of page)
-Live Drafts and some Live Sims (Details in Rules/Regs section of page) [Note initial Draft will be Random Order Snake draft done by CPU to ensure parity!]
-Custom Team Pages which Track your Record as GM, #1 Draft Picks, Team MVPs, Player Awards, and All-star Selectees.
-Beautiful Logos
-A 2 Commish system to ensure Timeliness and Impartialness.
-Beat Writers (Starting in season #2)
The League structure uses a National Theme in which teams come from States and the owners name their Minor League clubs accordingly ala that States Cities. The Divisions are Geographically structured as well.

The NPBL has a nice look with some interesting options in the Rules/Regs section. We are looking for a startup after the Holidays. With team locations, we hope to develop some goodnatured rivalries!

" This League is unique in the fact that each franchise will represent a State rather then a city. Minor League affiliates must be located within that state, with the exception being the Washington D.C. franchise where the affiliate teams should be as close as possible to that district."

The NPBL (heheh.. the original one) is filling up VERY quickly. There are only a few teams left so quick grab one up before its too late. So far, every owner that has joined the league has been great so this will definitly be one of the premier leagues on the net!

This is looking like a terrific league. The owners should have ample opportunities to interact, and the unique rules should also help to make this a great league.

Thank you everyone for taking a look at the League. We are down to just 7 open teams and the league is filling up VERY quickly!! Since we are so close to launching the league, I sent out a League-wide Email to the Owners who have signed up for teams. This Email includes what to expect as the League begins, and The Random Draft Order that the Computer has selected (Snake Draft). If you are interested in any of the 7 teams left, and would like to join, you wont have to have missed out on the Email I just sent out to the owners. You may take a look at it in the League Announcements area in the Forum on the League Web Page! Hurry, because the 7 teams wont be available much longer at all, and so the league will be starting very soon!!

Thank you everybody, I really look forward to having you in the League. This is truly an outstanding beginning group we have so far!

Hello everyone,
We are down to just 6 teams available in the NPBL. They are:

D.C. Senators
Montana Warriors
Oregon Trappers
Kansas Storm
Illinois Jethawks
Florida Bluefish

All 6 teams have great logos. Come and check them out and grab the team you'd like because They most likely will all be gone within 24 hours. The League Initial Draft (A randomly Done CPU Snake draft) will be held on Sunday, Dec. 29th at Noon (CST). The league File will go up following the draft and the First sim will be within a few days of the draft to allow everyone to set up their teams and make any pre-season trades they need.

Just four Teams left in need of good owners, they are;

What better thread to use than this one to say...

Congratulations to Rigs and the Mississippi Ravens, who won the NPBL's National Cup Series in 2015. The Ravens are the first team in 16 seasons of NPBL baseball to win back-to-back titles! Rigs is the Ravens' original owner, so he must have seen this thread many moons ago. He has also guided the Ravens to the postseason in every season except for the league's first - 15 straight playoff appearances!
