Thanks to all who have contacted me about joining their leagues. I have contacted the ones I am currently looking at and will have to see what happens.
If you weren't contacted, no hard feelings. Being a newbie, I want to use my time to pour into one team/one league. When I become more familiar with online play I may decide to join multiple leagues. Thanks again. |

Mr. Cow,
I would urge you take a look around and get to know some of the leagues a bit before you join one. There are some great leagues out there, but there are also some not-so-great ones, and having a league that you've put time into fold is a pretty disappointing experience. No offense to the people who invited you, but I would suggest that you look around ootp-leagues.com and also check out the links in peoples' signatures to get a feel for what's out there, then get on a bunch of waiting lists and wait to get into a solid, established league of the sort you're interested in, rather than just signing up wherever there are openings. Best of luck with whatever ends up happening, but you will probably have a better experience if you go to the leagues, rather than letting them come to you.

Holy Cow,
BBDL is currently in 1992, moving to OOTP5 and expansion in 1993 (Rockies, Marlins). There are currently 3 vacant teams. Take a look (URL in sig) and feel free to email the Commish if you like this historical era.
