I normally don't do this, but if you come out here to explain something after taking some heat, at least proof-read your post to make sure it is intelligble.

If you are a non-native English speaker, I apologize, but my point remains the same.

*breaks out his glasses*

A loose translation:

Well, I got a lot of messages [relating to the issue of stealing licenses in that other, long, thread] and I really appreciate the support. The commish [who was allegedly 'stealing' licenses] finally contacted me two days ago, and then got in touch again today concerning the accusations I had made earlier [which led to the long thread about stealing licenses]

I emailed his host to find out what had happened with their server [which the commish claimed was down or at the car wash or ?? something]. I'm still not getting a clear picture from him. I'm pretty sure that I was right to do what I did. The commissioner has plenty of excuses, but something just doesn't jive.

I read all of his replys in that thread and it is true that I tried to get in touch with him. He replied to me via AIM and said that his host was down and I would have to use the message board to stay in contact with him. When he contacted me today to discuss all the posts in that thread, he said the league was finally back up.

It is a shame but he really needed to learn a lesson. I'm sorry it had to be the hard way, but he should be better for it. [Next time he'll keep dad from reinstalling the computer and won't get into any major fender benders down by the nickel and dime car wash]

If any of the OOTP5 [.400 Studios] higher-ups or regular posters want to contact me, here is my contact info:

e.savard22@sympatico.ca

Thanks lots!

Hmm, I understood it perfectly.. Granted, his English won't win him literary awards, but I don't particularly like it when people call out ESL people as if they should go back home. He's most likely from Quebec and I think he should be given some slack.

That said, I didn't really see the need to post. That mlb2 guy will just come here and start up another long thread that will get locked by the admins again. I guess he just wanted to fill us in on what he knew regarding the whole fiasco.

Actually.. no Jordan... me publicly calling you three "class-less" hurts more than a private PM.

I am done posting in this thread... no need to bump it anymore.

As I understand it, English is definitely not the native language of the dynamic Savard brothers.

I *DID* apologize and he never has stated that he was not a native English speaker. My point was that he obviously wanted to say something and that I could not tell what he was trying to say based on his English. It was constructive criticisim. Go champion another cause.

I think you guys are making a mountain out of a molehill, which happens a lot around here...

...just walk on by (as I should have, though my post was meant purely in fun and from an innocent point...what was I thinking?)

I don't think we need a healthy flame war in this thread. There is no cause here...

Ok guys here is everything that happened in truth. (If you dont believe this there is nothign else i can do to change your thoguts). Ok A couple weeks ago my host company had a problem with my account. The site was still up but I couldnt change anything. So while this problem was arise I made the decision to do everything I could during the downtime of the league to make the league better. I decided to fire the inactive owners and hire new ones. There were about 8 in all. They were all found on the same night and were all told of the specific teams that they would be managing.I gave merlin the astros. I told him that the only piece of info I needed at that time was his ord3er id, bc of the problems with my host I was seeing if there was a way i could get hosted by ootp. I told him I didnt know when but I would contact hi m with the need for the rest of his standard information(name, email, aim, icq). I already saved his aim so i could get in contact with him. To make a long story short I didnt hjave time to get on the computer for the rest of that week so i didnt get into contact with him. My computer was also reinstalled so I had to get everything reinstalled before worrying about the league again. Also remember I go to school fpr 6 hours and then have baseball daily for 3 Then about a day after he made the post in this board, I contacted him and got his info and put it up on the league owners page. Everythign was fine.

To sum it up there was some miscommunication between me and merlin but no wrongdoing for either of us. (He was a gm in my league when asked for his license). Also I dont know where this whole car wash thing was brought up or who did it but I have no clue what that is. I hope this will clear up everything with everyone in here and show that there are no big problems here except for miscommunication, but that is not an legal offense, it is a honest mistake.

If you have any questions please post them here and I will clear them up. This is the FULL truth here.

Also if you would like you can email me at michaelfitterer6@hotmail.com

All i want is my name cleared and this stuff to stop because it is all a big misunderstanding.

What's a legal offense?

Is that like not having too many men on the line of scrimmage?

Not that it matters, but I believe you.

(j/k . . . maybe I shouldn't have posted that!)

Not being a native English speaker myself, I had to hop in

Some people have trouble with the English language and that's perfectly normal. However, it's not because it's not your first language that you necessarily don't speak it well. I've been told often by people on the internet that my grammar was superior to most Americans they talked to, and if you look at this board, Pierre Pagé's English is really good. So is the German's English.

Actually I don't know why I post this message, sorry to waste your time
