I guarantee there is no other league on the internet with OOTP5 with as many active GM's on at one time, there are 22 active GM's on the Internet Relay Chat to talk trades at any period in time.

There is no other format that could be more challenging, more active and more exciting.

If you have the abilities I urge you to check the message above, because we enjoy challenges and any you guys want to bring..

We've been doing this for 5 years plus, including Baseball Mogul the original days.. to OOTP3 , OOTP4, and now finally OOTP5 v5.10 ...

Please check WWW.BMIL.NET , and we hope to see you on channel #BMIL on EFNET ("IRC") NETWORK.

trident, oh by the way I dont think you challenge me.

Where are your rules? Where are your owners list? Is there a salary cap? Where can I find the info I need to be in your league?

The rules are simple... Function as a standard major league baseball GM in a room full of GM's active at any time to make trades...

Changes are done through the commissioner who is normally always sitting in the channel/room and his email address.

The results are posted to the room as they are done LIVE and printed in bold while everyone else is there watching and talking about it.

The owners list is available through the OOTP5 team pages, with nickname representing the GM's who are in the room.

The financials we're equalized, tv deals are equalized, the competition for finances will be based heavily on Fan Loyalty , and Merchandising.. there is no cap but based on finances alone it'll create player free agency movement.

The info isn't there because we haven't had to advertise out... this is rare we'll look beyond the baseball chatroom people on IRC who are experienced with OOTP5..

But we would like the best.. because we've challenged each other so much, (the divisions themselves are based on rivalries alone) , so we want anyone who has solid abilities in OOTP5 , knows IRC, #BMIL on EFNET, and can handle a sometimes hostile chat room but one that is oriented on competition for the league.

Hope I answered you questions

In a way, yes, but it will be more helpful that you have a main page setup that includes these likes, like the rules, owners page, things like that. It not only helps me, it helps anyone else who would be interested in joinining your league, because the site doesn't contain the information he/she may need.

Thats the whole difference between our league and any other league.. we aren't web based...

We are IRC based.. LIVE , room with people all the time for any discussion similar to an AOL room.

WWW.BMIL.NET has been re-updated so feel free to have another look.

The rest of the questions can be answered in the chat channel, Anything I can do to help

Oh and by the way, with OOTP5, the HTML outputted by it is more important than any other website. Clicking on team pages , and under "Manager:" will list the nickname of the chat member.

In case you didnt know, the league uses Real Major League players, and major league team names but fantasy rosters...

All you need to check it out is the program mIRC or trillium ... go onto server irc.mpls.ca and join the channel / room (same thing) name #BMIL .. exactly as I wrote it...

look forward to seeing you there

You're the second best league on MIRC in my opinion, but how can you have all the best GM's when I am not in the league?

The only question about this league is it's lack of a user-friendly website. No rules set out straight on the website. No Owners list. Otherwise, this could be a good league.

After writing that, it kinda makes me wanna be some kind of a online league grader

Total Nirvana, its perhaps the most active league on the internet period...

We're too lazy to make up rules , we know full well what they are and can be explained easily.. whos going to write a 20,000 word charter for something everyone knows

Owners list is the people in the internet chat channel on irc and on every team page on the ootp5 output .. represented by their chat channel nickname..

bacon dont get carried away.. i already took it to ya in a series.. and the fact you arent in it was your own fault.. hard to wipe the slate clean now

If you say that you are too lazy to make up rules, then why are you running a league in the first place? Many people's first impression on a online league is the rules. If you don't have the league's rules listed on your league site, you are going to lose a lot of potential owners. Same with the owners list. People don't wanna look on roster by roster just to see what team is available or not. Making one simple page listing the team, the GM's full name, e-mail, and their mIRC nickname will do fine.

Just my .02

Your league may make a good argument, but you really can't say that your league is the "most active" until you have been in every league ever created. I'm not saying that your league is not the most active, but there are many that can challenge you on that quote.

For sure, we're looking to improve based on responses from people on here so its something we'll have to consider.. we dont want to lose out on the best possible potential GM's in terms of intelligence..

Well lets hope the real smart ones figure it out for now

TBAY only team open, peace.. http://www.bmil.net

Only thing I have ever seen in BMIL is 12 GM's sitting around spitting racial slurs or accusing commisioners of cheating and using comebacks from things that happened 1-2 years ago. I'll stand by my division win.
