I can tell you that I've talked to 5 people in the last 2 days and mentioned a very informative topic on these forums and all gave a similiar response...

I don't even go there anymore because there is too much flaming to weed through to see the good posts.

I have no problems with outing a cheater, but to sit here and have 5 active topics about the same person is ridiculous. I don't care if your board status is Hall of Famer or A ball, please stop acting like a bunch of children.

I am also very bored of the crap posts these days....... and here I am posting my opinion of this on my birthday! If I had one wish for my birthday present this year, it would be that I was made a mod on these boards so I could help clean them up!

And indeed, some of them ( or us?) just got too much time to waste. What can a "casual" poster do against that? Nothing.

Do you guys go into a resturant, sit in the smoking section and bitch about the smoking?

Nah, I just go into the nonsmoking section and bitch about people smoking in the smoking section. And apparently there's a plethora of other people doing likewise, which is why smoking is being banned outright in more and more public places.

Just to piss you people off, of course, lol.

I was just joking around in my original statement, but I can see where you misunderstood it. That being said, I still can't help but laugh my ass off every winter when I walk in/out any public establishment and there's smokers outside shivering in 15 degree weather just so they can get a quick smoke in. Priceless, I'm tellin' ya!

And fortuntely, I'm actually in the process of trying to quit smoking.
