Online league kiss of death.

I think I'm the online league kiss of death. The first league I ever joined didn't last a season, even me quitting half way through couldn't save it. Then I'm off to iMLB, a great league with great ownership, only to join in September and have the league shutdown at the conclusion of the playoffs. Now I fear I may be responsible for the California fires as I joined MLB replay and the leagues home office is located near San Diego and the league staff has been forced to evacuate.

If you see an application from me in your league's drop box, you would likely be best served taking a match to it.

Answer -- So much that we can get our legs tied together, walking 3 legged for the rest of our lives and I'd love it.

I was trying to come up with some joke about you bringing down the quality of NGBL as well but figured I'd let it go...

I feel more sorry for my unsuspecting commishes so figured Id publically "out" myself so as not to feel responsible. Im fairly certain at this point neither a Cubs nor Red Sox fan would ever hire me. Will likely take some sort of stat head to pass off my wake of destruction as sheer chance.

We have just been notified via Fox News that all MLBr executives and their families have been evacuated safely. All pertinant league documents have also been preserved. The status of league headquarters is still uncertain at this time.

ROFL.... great stuff Clarnzz!

Quick geography... I'm nowhere near San Diego. There are three major parts of the fires. The biggest is probably in San Diego, then 2nd in San Bernadino, and the third is in and around Pico Canyon where I live. The on a smaller scale, it did cause the major interstate to be closed. Once two of my three escape routes were blocked and I saw the long line of cars on the street outside my home, I got out too. Valencia is the home of Six Flags Magic Mountain as is located just north of Los Angeles. Hopefully I can go back home tomorrow, but just when it sounds OK, another hot spot breaks out and causes huge problems.

Now that the serious part of the message is over, time for some fun.... if you are responsible for the fires, maybe I can get in on the large reward their offering for info on the arsonists. I wonder if they'll buy it.... "Well, theres this guy in a baseball league I run who has bad luck killing off leagues and it seems that the fires may be his fault to keep my league's sim from being run!" So do you think that will fly?

No worries though, all three leagues will not die. I was able to take my PC with me so no info will be lost. But I must admit, that's a very creative way you have of trying to destroy another league!

And yes, the "bulletin" you mention is accurate. MLBR as well as BoS and GDBA have safely been relocated to Bakersfield for the evening

Unhappy I miss Chuch

You! You're the guy that's responsible for the iMLB never coming back.

But yeah....I know how you feel on that one. I absolutely loved that league. Probably the best that I had ever been in. Then *poof*, it's gone. 'Twas a sad day.

You just don't hear about it when it happens to Detroit and Buffalo, because no one gives a damn.
