WLB revamp site and begin playoffs

The World League Baseball went through a transformation this weekend, revamping its site and ready to begin the 2009 playoffs which will feature some excellent matchups. Montreal and Caracas find themselves in the postseason for the first time in league history. Tokyo held off the surging Berlin Stein who struggled early in the season to find themselves back in the postseason.

The Casablanca Heat and their many offseason moves find themselves pumped after a 5 year absence from the WLB's second season. The Mexico City Aztecs, Moscow Red Warriors, Chicago Blues and Rome Gladiators also vie for the title of World League Baseball Champion! Should be some exciting playoff action.
