SO49 Game of the Week
I'm looking to take a break from thesis writing, and since the scheduled SO49 sim is tomorrow, I'm considering doing a game live -- complete PbP.
Looking on the upcoming schedule, the best matchup is the July 5 game between the sundered rivals: New York and San Francisco (Red Sox) at Yankee Stadium. Red Sox are, as usual, atop their division. The Yankees are a team in the midst of a suprising battle for the AL East. Anyone interested in following along is certainly invited, and if nobody is interested (as may well be the case) I'll just forego live festivities and get back to my thesis   Game will be called by Mel Allen (or a very poor imitation of 'The Voice') live on WINS 1010 (Turn dials toAIM: NMC1979) at 6 PM Central Standard Time, 7 PM Eastern, on Thursday.

Since I have a vested interest in the game, being the SO49 Bronx Bombers flamboyant owner, I shall be in the stands in my reserved front row section. I will stay until the 7th, in which I fly back to NY to discuss potential moves with my scouting team before the trade deadline.
