OOTP6 1903 Once/day sim has 2 openings

BAB Has two openings in its league right now and both are in the American League. The forums page is here:

You can download the league file on the forums page. We are seeking active and stable owners. The league is an active and we have most of the owners from our 1st season, 1901.

The openings are:
New York Highlanders (1st year of the Yankees)- This team is a well-rounded team without a true superstar but they have been a contender every season. A few moves can get them over the hump.

Detroit Tigers- They made a big free agent signing of SS H. Wagner, CF Hamilton, and they made a big trade where they picked up two excellent SP's. The problem is that they are right at the salary cap limit, and are by far the highest payroll in the league.This team will need some good long-term planning.

We sim once day and 4 days at a time. We have some unique financial rules that involve adding stadium capacity.

We are having a problem with getting 3 long term owners for these teams. If you are interested in an intense historical deadball league, then please respond. But please do not waste the time if you are going to burn out in three weeks. It really doesnt take that much to be in a league and manage your team effectively and the turnover is not good for the league.

St. Louis Cards- Currently 16-20 and in 5th place. This team hasnt had a winning record yet. They need to upgrade the talent on the roster here and this should be a challenge for a willing GM

The problem is that they are right at the salary cap limit, and are by far the highest payroll in the league.This team will need some good long-term planning. Right now though, they are a game out of 1st place and in my mind, they could be the favorites with some guidance.
