The WWBL still has a few teams open

WWBL is a 24-team fictional league, we haven't started yet but the commish simmed 20 years to add some history to the league.

The draft and FA is just around the corner.

Here's how the open teams stack up:

Tennessee Trappers - One of the balanced-lineup in WWBL. They can hit for average and shown a little power. Last season, 6 guys hit 15 or more HR. Has good 1-2-3 punch in the rotation. Their closer recorded 28 saves and 17 wins (no games started), both team-high. Will pick 20th in the draft, and has $33 M for FA. (12th - farm system)

Washington Statesmen - Pretty average offense. The 40-year-old CF carried the team last year with pretty good numbers, .311, 28 HR, 99 RBI. Decent staff. Only two starters managed to have 10 W. Has a lights-out closer, saved 29 games last season with 2.30 ERA. They have $48 M to offer for FA and will pick 7th in the first-year player draft. (11th - farm system)

Montana Mustangs - Powerful offense. 3 guys have 30+ HR last year, another 2 guys added 20+ HR, and a couple of others amassed 10+ HR. Above-average staff, all 5 of their starters have collected 10+ W last season. The closer closed out 43 games. 16th in the draft order and has $40 M to offer for FA. (20th - farm system)

Mississippi River Rats - Another contact-oriented offense. Only two guys displayed power last year with 20+ HR apiece. 4 pitchers, led by a 38-year-old ace, will get another chance to prove their worth. 11th in the upcoming draft and has $44 M for FA. (13th - farm system)

if you want a new fictional league, WWBL fits the bill.. if you end up with an average team, don't worry, free agency and draft is nearing..

After we are full, i think we are going to start the off-season. The Free Agent market has good talents and could help your team in an instant.

Steve owns the RedSox in my league and is a very active owner. Im sure he'll run a solid league and the site looks very good too. You should give this one a try.

Little Rock: Has a fine, experienced, offense. The 1-2 punch of their pitching staff is great.
