CCBL looking for new Giants owner

The CCBL is looking for a new owner to take over the New York Giants. The current owner is stepping down due to time constraints

The CCBL is an OOTP5 historical league that began play in the 1930 season. Now finishing the 1935 season, the CCBL has become a very stable league, with just one owner change since mid-1933.

The Giants are a rebuilding project. With one week left in the season, they have clinched the #1 pick in the upcoming amateur draft. Their major league roster is weak, and the minor league system has little to offer in terms of immediate help. This is definitely a team for someone who wants to build from scratch. The good news is that there is plenty of cap space to do so, as the team is currently $40+ million beneath the cap limit.

(While currently in OOTP5, the league is exploring moving to OOTP6 in the next season or two.)

The CCBL is still looking for a new owner for the New York Giants. We just finished the 1935 World Series and are set to begin the off-season festivities just after the upcoming holiday weekend.

The Giants are a rebuilding projects, no doubt about it; but the CCBL is becoming famous for its quick turnarounds: 3 of the last 4 WS winners have been in the bottom half of the division the year before.

We are a fast-paced sim with a good group of active owners, and we just need one more to fill the league. If you are interested in taking over the team, check out the league web site and contact me at michael@ccblsim.com.
