FTP/online problem

I am using Smart FTP and the host for my league is hostultra. I've actually used the OOTP uploading thing for awhile because smart FTP has had some problems for me. I try to compress the file and send it to the website, but then I can't see it. It goes through the uploading thing, and then it just isn't anywhere to be found. Does anyone know what that could be?

I'd think this is an issue with Hostultra. They're a free host, and as free hosts go they have a good amount of features, but I wouldn't exactly call them reliable. It's also possible that they're taking awhile to publish your files on the site.

I actually can see the compressed file now, but another question arrises how can I extract it? Can it be done on hostultra, because I haven't found out how.

If I remember right, they're supposed to have an auto-extract utility, but if they don't then you might have to double-click on the file from the browser.
