My friend is starting up a new league. It is his first, so I wont lie and say this will be the best damn league and so on, I dont know.

It is a league where the commish enters in all info (aka, you dont have to have OOTP to play.) I cant answer many questions about the league but if your interested, check it out.

Red Sox, Orioles, Twins, Royals, White Sox, Phillies, Mets, Expos, Astros, Dodgers, and Rockies appear to be the teams left.

Not yet, he told me a site will be posted when the league is up. I'll see if I can find out what roster set he is using at least.

He said he planned on having the site up tomorrow, getting the 5 owners or so he needs, giving out the GM goals then doing ST a few days later. So hopefully this can start up soon.

IMO, it would be a fun league for someone new to OOTP.

Just to be clear, it wasnt a rip-off of your guys. It was quickly thought up by me and I must of forgot you guys had that. I'll talk to him about a name change.

Anybody want to join? Or for that matter have a league title suggestion?

To the FOBL, I just wanted to say I checked out your site and am WOWED. That's a great site, and it looks like a great league. Very cool.

So, does this new league have a site yet? I have never played an online league yet. I just got the game about a month ago and have only been playing solo leagues. Anyway...I'd love to get started with online play, and if they're still open, would take the Royals...since my Cardinals are taken already.

Uhg...it appears it uses OOTP5...i have version 6.

This a league in which the owners dont need the game copy. You message changes to your lineups, settings, etc to the commish. So you can still join if you like.
