Openings in the Lords of Baseball
We just concluded out first season here (1990) and I'm now looking to replace 1 owner and possibly 1 other (I'm waiting for a response) as we head into the off-season. The team available is the Boston Red Sox with Boggs, Burks, Greenwell and Roger Clemens leading the way. The posiible 2nd team is the Cleveland Indians with a young stud named Albert Belle and another up and comer, Carlos Baerga. Were a talent only league who prides itself on statistical accuracy, not only the players offensive abilities, but the defensive side also. I built this league from the ground up and spent ALOT of time making sure everything was perfect before I ever started asking GM's to join. Most notably was the time spent with the league file, which is from the Lahman Database and reedited every single player offensively and defensivley, referenced from Baseball-Reference.com and Baseball-Prospectes to make sure every player was accurately portrayed. I require any GM in this league to be of good reputation, actively a part of a league such as writing articles, participation in all league matters. If your interested, fill out the application, or drop me an email. Thanks ! BC Stone http://lordsofbaseball.us/

A great league and perhaps the premier 1990's historical league (this is coming for the commish of a 1990's historical league
) Let my loss by your gain....just make sure you read the rules first.

Thanks Remangiii for the kind words. Guys or gals........If your looking to be a part of a good hard working league, with a great bunch of GM's who also work hard, then this is the one you want to join. I have assembled a great core of GM's who are widely known and respected in the OOTP community. This is a good opportunity to get in now. Boston and now Cleveland for sure are open. Thanks !!! I would just like to second remangiii words on the league. BC & Roger do a fantastic job with this league and put a lot of effort into it. Plus you have a great group of owners, can't beat that. I enjoy it, and I know you will too.

Cleveland is taken, Boston still open. Boston is led by a 28 year old by the name of Roger Clemens, who went 21-7 with a 2.37 ERA and was 2nd in the league in K's with 272. On the offensive side of the ball there is (3B) Wade Boggs, who hit .346 with his usual stellar OBP of .432, while leading the league in doubles with 54. In the outfield there is Mike Greenwell who hit .320, while leading the league in RBI's with 133. The Sox finished the year at 98-64, which was the second best record in the A.L.....The Sox with a couple of good moves will find themselves in the World Series.
