Historical League in 17th Season Seeks SF Giants Owner

The Shiba League, which is about to start its 17th season, is looking for an owner of the San Francisco Giants. We sim 3 times a week, 15 games at a time. The league has been around since March of 2002. We use Version 6.

The 1964 draft will be the final draft using a '3-year lag' custom player database. Given the propensity of OOTP6 to hammer young prospects, we will be transitioning to the Ankit database (slightly modified) over the next three seasons.

Financials are enabled and are quite a bit more restrictive than most leagues. Sustaining a $70 million per year payroll is virtually impossible. We also use a custom, Excel-based 'arbitration file' to generate contract extensions, so we don't waste time with the annoying 'three strikes and you're out' negotiation process.

We will also be breaking with historical accuracy and splitting into 5-team divisions for the 1964 season. In this case, I'd rather sacrifice historical accuracy for fun.
