Active OOTP5 league entering 5th season needs 5 owners
IHBL is entering the 2007 season, and is in need of some new owners. We need owners for:
New York Yankees-In the wild card hunt in 06 with 3 weeks left in the season. Would really prefer to fill this team before we start the 06 playoffs. Chicago Cubs-Also in the wild card hunt, and probably SHOULD be winning their division if they had an active owner. Another team I'd like to fill before the end of the 06 season. Arizona Diamondbacks-A team that has been driven to mediocrity by an owner who had some personal issues come up in his life. Has contended before this year, and has some nice young talent. LA Dodgers-Mismanaged team with a couple of overpriced players from 06 free agency. Sits in last in the tough NL West but is not as bad as their record. Houston Astros-Has overperformed their talent. Bad team needs an owner up to a challenge. I may have a current owner in our league interested in the Astros, and if so, the Mets would open up instead of the Astros. If you're interested in a trade-happy league full of ambitious owners, this is the place for you. You must own OOTP5. We sim 3 times/week, 10 games/sim. We have a luxury tax in place. Most other rules are pretty standard. We use BOSI as well. I would really like to have all these teams filled before we head into 07 free agency, and would like to fill the 2 contending teams prior to the playoffs. Just to update on who is available now...and give the thread a bump
 The 2006 regular season just ended and we have openings for: Chicago (N) - NL Central Champs!! Filling this squad for playoffs is high priority! Arizona Los Angeles New York (N) Montreal |

Seattle has taken the title in '06 and we are still looking to fill the aforementioned squads.
Los Angeles is perfect to anyone who likes a financial challenge. The Dodgers are way over budget. The others are totally viable clubs. |
